Resumen
In the community “Cuatro Esquinas” Guano Canton, Chimborazo province; it was designed, implemented and evaluated a parasitological health calendar based on laboratory diagnosis as a preventive measure before a high incidence of gastrointestinal parasites in animals, it was determined the effectiveness of commercial anthelmintic (Doramectin, Albendazole and Fenbendazole) at 8, 30, 60 and 90 days post application. 30 Llamas were used of different age, sex and weight, which were distributed in a DCA with 3 treatments and 10 repetitions, the data were subjected to descriptive statistical analysis. Llamas treated with Doramectin presented an initial parasite load of 630 ± 91.89 HPG, 8 days after application dewormed efficiency was 78.33 %, 30 d 100 %; 60 d 94.08 % and 74.23 % 90 days. Llamas treated with Albendazole submitted an initial parasite load of 610 ± 99.61 HPG, antiparasitic efficacy after application was, at 8 d 74.88 %; 30 d 100 %; 60 d 93.47 % and 71.83 % at 90 d. Llamas treated with, Fenbendazole have an initial load of 605 ± 64.33 HPG, antiparasitic efficacy after application was: at 8 d 73.9 %; 30 d 100 %; 60 d 93.11 % and 69.41% 90 d. No statistical differences between treatments for parasites were found. The lower cost corresponds to Albendazole with 2.34 USD. dose. It is recommended to use Albendazole, by high anthelmintic action and for having set the least cost.
