Resumen
At The Poultry Research Academic Unit (PROCAP Project), of ESPOCH, four types of diets based on quinua at different energetic density (2600, 2800, 3000, and 3200 Kcal of ME/kg and MS) were tested in the capon commercial chicken “pio-pio” in order to determine the capon commercial chicken productive behavior from isoprotein diets based on quinua at the different levels of energetic density, every test consisted of a 25 repetitions treatment which were give in regarding a randomdesing. The study results reveal that the capon commercial chicken treated with a diet based on quinua at a 3206 Kcal of EM/kg energy density reached the best final weight accounting for 3661,96 g, and reflecting a weight increase of 2901,37g; a crude protein intake of 16,47 g/ a day; a metabolizable energy of 294,02 kcal/ a day; an efficient alimentary conversion of 2,37 points; a weight at canal of 3127,0 g, the yield at carcass of 68,61%, and it also reflected minimal lost because of lessening for feather which account for 13,39%, for blood lessening which account for 3,54% and for entrails lessening accounting for 10,12%. Therefore this quinua energetic density level was reflected in the crude protein existing in the meat and in a percentage of the intramuscular fat which account for 1,65%; the meat cost/kg of 0,89 USD and a benefit cost of 1,53 USD. From these study results we can conclude that the fattening diet at 3.206 Kcal of ME/kg is advisable to feed the capon commercial chicken since it gives the best economic and productive yield.
