Resumen
In the experimental Station from ESPOCH in Pastaza Province-Ecuador, the effect of three levels of mycorrhizae applied basal route (0,75; 1 and 1,25 kg/ha) was assessed with 10 Tn/ha of sheep compost, plus a control treatment in the forage production of Brachiaria decumbens ( DALIS GRASS) in two consecutive cuts; the area of experimentation for the research was of 320 m², set in 16 experimental units, each one with 20 m² (5*4 meters), and four replications, which were evaluated under a random complements block design (RCBD). Experimental measurements showed highly significant statistical differences (P0, 01). In the first cut in the days of pre-flowering the best treatment was 1 kg/ha of mycorrhizae getting 44.50 days. In the second cut in time of pre-flowering the best treatment was 1.25 kg/ha of mycorrhizae with 45 days; the best basal coverage (58.71%) and area (62.25%), increased production of forage (185,62 th/ha/year), and (62.22 th/ha/year) of dry fodder production. The analyzes determined a protein content with (9.79%), fiber (30.4%) and dry fodder (34. 87%), using 0m75 kg/ha of mycorrhizae in the treatment. In the economic assessment the best cost benefit was achieved in the first cut with 1.58 using 1 kg/ha/ of mycorrhizae cut and in the second cut 2.03 using 1.25 kg/ha of mycorrhizae, according to the results are recommended use 1.25 kg/ha of mycorrhizae because it improves yields of Brachiaria decumbens.
