Aplicación de la metodología PACIE en el aprendizaje de la matemática de la básica superior

Abstract

This research work stems from the urgent need to improve levels of learning in the area of mathematics in the eighth year of Basic Education of the Center for Basic Education “Once de Noviembre" in the city of Riobamba. Therefore so its realization is justified; it becomes in an evidence that will contribute to the development of education in Chimborazo. It was developed a website where PACIE methodology appears. The hypothesis that arises is a correlation of variables, determining substantial improvement. To get to get results we started with the developing the theoretical framework emphasizing the two study variables: the PACIE methodology and learning of mathematics. It was contrasted information obtained before and after the application of this methodology in an educational website created by the researcher. With observed and expected values was reached a comparative table where 82% of students began to improve in their academic activity in the subject of mathematics, using this methodology, Statistically chi square was used for testing. It is concluded, that improved the learning of mathematics in students from eighth year of basic education, so it is recommended to teachers to use this methodology for teaching-learning process of mathematics.
