By the means of Dhelpi
method the following parameters were taken into account for its analysis: Potential of
Hydrogen, dissolved oxygen, Cadmium, Plumb, DBO

, Fecal Coliforms, total phosphorus,
suspended solids, Nitrates, surfactants, fat and oils. Delphi
method is a succession of
surveys applied to experts taken into account considering its: capacity, experience and
knowledge acquired that are under anonymous in order to guarantee its effectiveness. The
place of study is the micro
-
basin of Chibunga River
which is located at the province of
Chimborazo, in the city of Riobamba, its course is 14 Km long, nine points were
considered for this search such as: Point 1 beginnig of Chimborazo River, Point 2
discharge Shobol town, Point 3 discharge San Juan town, Po
int 4 union Chimborazo

Gatazo river, Point 5 discharge Cemento Chimborazo Factory, Point 6 Gatazo town , Point
7 Ecological Park, Point 8 discharge San Luis town, Point 9 discharge from Chibunga of
Chambo river. Besides, Analysis was made in dry season on
August 7
th
, 2014 and in rainy
season on November 6
th
, 2014. The results obtained for quality water in the micro basin
according WQI are: in dry season 76, 34 and in rainy season 73, 11 which are qualified as
good for aquatic life prevention. However, param
eter like: Fecal Coliforms, dissolved
oxygen, fat and oils have a really bad quality which reflects that water taken from
Chibunga River is not appropriate for agriculture, recreation, watering hole of animals. For
future analysis it must be taken into acc
ount that Chibunga River is an active ecosystem
with biosphere, sediments must be sampled, as well as gases emissions for more complex
