dc.description.abstractThe paper about a didactic tool implementation for thermal and flow measurement analysis of a V6-engine at Automotive Engineering was carried into two parts: In the former a thermal analysis of the Otto cycle parameter such as process, isentropic compression, heat-supplying process, adiabatic process, isentropic expansion, heat-rejection process and flow measurement study was carried out. This flow measurement will be carried out in the cylinder head, manifold oil, and exhaust manifold. The latter consists on implementing the didactic tool of V6 engine so that it can be started. It operates with 110 V. The electric engine is started by means of switch to transmit the movement to steering Wheel-engine so that the V6 engine can start. This research-implementation is based on the most relevant theories: thermodynamic processes and its stoichiometric calculations. The thermodynamic motor analysis was carried out to get fundamental parameters for the flow measurement analysis and software simulation from the results. When simulation finished, didactic tool implementation was carried out by technology in order to elaborate practice guides such as maintenance manual.
