Evaluación de la aplicación de la guía para la recepción y almacenamiento de medicamentos e insumos médicos para el área de bodega del Hospital Provincial General Docente de Riobamba 2014

Resumen
Se evaluó la aplicación de la guía para la recepción y almacenamiento de medicamentos emitida por el Ministerio de Salud Pública del Ecuador (MSP), en diciembre del 2009, que describe actividades, como: Recepción Administrativa y Técnica, Ingreso y Ubicación, Almacenamiento, Control de Inventarios y Distribución, misma que es de aplicación obligatoria en toda la red de salud, razón que motivó a plantear la presente investigación, con el propósito de evaluar el grado de aplicación de la Guía en el Hospital Provincial General Docente Riobamba, en base a tres parámetros: Medicamentos e insumos que ingresaron al área de la bodega del Hospital; Conocimiento de la existencia y aplicación de la Guía por parte del personal que labora en el Área, y Satisfacción de usuarios/as a los que se les brinda el servicio. Para lo cual se aplicó como insumo los Anexos de la Guía, encuestas de conocimiento y satisfacción. El incumplimiento de la aplicación de la Guía es notable, las causas son múltiples, como no contar con Talento Humano a fin al área, infraestructura misma que es insuficiente se comparte con la bodega general, incumple con normas de almacenamiento y rotulación, no existe libre circulación entre estanterías y pallets. Mediante el estudio se identificó el incumplimiento sobre el Instructivo para preparar inventario general, Consolidado de necesidades de medicamentos por programas. No se aplica Registro de limpieza de bodega, utiliza un servicio tercerizado, el Registró de Capacitación y de accidentes, presentó incumplimiento del 100% en las Normas de Seguridad. Es necesario proporcionar una bodega exclusiva para el almacenamiento de medicamentos e insumos médicos con todas las condiciones idóneas tanto infraestructura, materiales e instrumentos para mantener la calidad de los mismos y asignar un Bioquímico Farmacéutico, que realice los Procedimientos Técnicos como Administrativos en la bodega. knowledge and satisfaction. The breach of the application of the Guide is notable, the reasons
are multiple, since not possessing Human Talent to end to the area, infrastructure itself that is
insufficient is shared by the general warehouse,

Procedure of Security.
It is necessary to provide an exclusive warehouse for the storage of medici
nes and medical
inputs with all the suitable conditions so much infrastructure, materials and instruments to
support the quality of the same ones and to assign a Pharmaceutical Biochemist, who realizes
the Technical as Administrative Procedures in the ware
house.
