dc.description.abstract | In the Province of Tungurahua, City of Ambato, Parish of Pilahuin, Community of Llangahua, Sector el Salado, the effect of different doses of bentonite was evaluated as a soil amendment, and its influence on the forage value of Arrhenatherum elatius (oats grass) . For this, the following values of Bentonite used: 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 Tn / ha. ese were used on a control treatment with two repetitions distributed under a Completely Randon Biock Desing. The media evaluation was done by using Tukey (P <0.05). The study determined that the used of 4 Tn / ha of Bentonite in the arrhenatherum elatius crop allowed registering a basal plant cover at, 15, 30, 45 and 60 days of 45.10, 47.71, 51.61 and 56.47%. An aerial cover at 15, 30, 45 and 60 days of 66.32, 69.49, 74.80 79.16%, a production of 12.11 Tn-1 Fv-1 ha-1 cut-1, 2.92 Tn-1 Ms-1 ha-1 cut- 1. In the same way, it was determined that the soil that used 2 Tn / ha of bentonite showed 6.7 Ph value, 4.7% organic matter, 9.3 mg / L NH4, 40.2 mg / LP and 629.4 mg / L, the bromatological assessment registered that this treatment has 24.11% of dry matter, 75.89% of humidity, 11.87% of ashes, 13.72% of protein, 34.31% of fiber and 2.24% of ether extract and 37.87% of Nitrogen Free Extract. Finally it is recommend to use 2 Tn-1 ha-1 of calcium bentonite in the production of oat grass since it yields a high quality of green forage, as well as better profit. | |
