Resumen
A system of wastewater treatment stage stained for S.A. was designed CURTIDURIA TUNGURAHUA located in the industrial park of the city of Ambato Tungurahua Province.
The study beginning with the recognition of the company, then the determination of the tributaries by gauging method is applied and through mass balances effluent was calculated for dyeing step with a design flow of 4 L / s.
The analysis was then performed physical - chemical wastewater in the dyeing step where: BOD5 11074, 17038 COD, suspended solids 2724, 43 settleable solids, oil and grease 3160, 2188 sulfates, pH 10.8, sulfides 297.374. Resulting that the above values are above the limits set by the TULAS.
The analyzed parameters allowed to determine the components of the treatment system, which consists of: Tank Road, flocculation and coagulation together, primary settling, filtering and secondary settlement.
With implementation of the sewage system will allow to eliminate 40-60 (%) of BOD5 and thickener gives a percentage of 50% of all both as suspended settleable solids, while in the flocculation and coagulation tank was achieved one 40% removal of BOD5 and BOD and the settler 50-70% solids that are suspended and are usually between 25-40% of BOD5, treating him pro filters eliminate almost all solids and removal COD of 45% and 90% of BOD5 and compounds such as sulfides, chromium, sulfate meet the stipulated values.
The application of the proposed system and the design of the treatment plant wastewater to achieve discharge water company comply with the parameters specified in the regulations, and thereby safeguarding the conservation of a sustainable environment.
