Resumen
The investigation was carried out the analysis and implementation of a training bank in a Cummins Diésel Engine for school of automotive engineering; it aims to present the actual performance of Cummins Diésel Engines to develop knowledge and skills that ensure resolving problems that arise in their maintenance. Through information gathering several techniques could determine parts and pieces necessary for assembly from engine that bring use teaching had to import. In the coupling process proceeded to locate all fixed and moving parts in block, insured and inspected effectively. The program Solidworks the respective simulation was performed by viewing the various efforts that can produce deformations determined in a maximum of 65,799 kN.m (newton kilograms per meter), 4,025kN.m (newton kilograms per meter) normal values, and minimum at 0.3 kN.m (newton kilograms per meter), elements tend to suffer larger deformations are: crankshaft, piston and connecting rod. The Cummins Diésel Engine assembly can display all its internal components as its armor is made of polycarbonate. Finally, before handling this teaching tool should read the guide operation, safety and maintenance in order to properly use the equipment, thus ensuring long life.
