Resumen
Systems for the derivation of concessioned flows were designed and gauges were built in the parish of San Isidro de Patulú of the Guano Canton belonging to the Province of Chimborazo with the objective of distributing the existing water resources in the Pacha Pungo, Cocha Tapada, Mula Potrero, Totora Guaico and Patulú River springs. The method used is inductive, which identified the work zone, where 4 in situ samplings were carried out to collect experimental data on width, depth and time, which were used in the design and construction of the gauges. With the results it was determined that the minimum and maximum flow of measurement in the rectangular spillway installed in the Patulú River will be 1.84L/s and 761.46L/s with a head of 0.01m and 0.58m; while in the triangular spillways of the San Isidro de Patulú and La Delicia ditches the measured flow rates are 0.014L/s and 61.67L/s with loading heights of 0.01m and 0.29m and finally in the Ingos and Naranjo Amelia ditches the spillway will measure flow rates between 0.014L/s and 32.53L/s with a maximum loading height of 0.22m. It is concluded that in the design of the rectangular spillway the fundamental parameter is the fluctuation of the flow in the water sources, while for the three triangular spillways the design parameter is the existing concessions in the National Water Secretariat; recommending periodic maintenance of the structures to avoid the accumulation of sediments.
