Today one of the problems facing the dairy industry is the need to satisfy the demand because the production of consumer foods have great conditions that do not allow to be flexible to market requirements such as restrictions on machinery defined for large volumes of raw material shortages, high production costs. These conditions affect the production of yogurt generally are not always aligned with the forecast of demand, which drives a high stock of product in storage or shortage of finished product due to the development of market needs and production capacity, all this can be controlled by a planning system called master production plan whose goals are to reduce production costs so as to efficiently use the capacity of the factory to avoid overproduction, to prepare the master plan is needed certain variables as forecasting, inventory status and available capacity, the program determines the amount and timing of product delivery to meet demand. This plan involves the material requirements plan which is responsíble for the timely supply of inputs that are part of the manufacturing process
