dc.description.abstract | "The growing energy consumplion made necessary to find new energy resources,
nose do not alfect the environment, the study alms to reduce consumplion of
únontenewable resources and preventing emissions of C02.
Six hot springs were founded in dfrant cantons o ne province Guaylabamba
(Chambo), Los Elenes (Guano), Palctanua (Penipe), Canunpogyo (Cota) and
Carmen (Alaus), was included in the stud, by ls size and proxmity, Cunugyacu
thermal soure (a Ambato Guaranda) belonging o the Tungurahua province
In the water laboratory of Sciences Faculty and CESTA ESPOCH performed
physical and chemical analyzes of samples takon, and were lassiied as
Bicarbonata Calclum Magnesium to the source Elenes and Cunupogyo, meso
thermal, Calclum Sulatada Chiorinated to the Cunugyacu source, Sodium
Bicarbonate to the Pantus source, meso thermal and Sulated Calclum
Guaylabamba and the thermal meso Paliciahua source. By using G!S(Geographio
Intemational System) mapping was performed geo reference of these places,
where tho stored data mil be used for consultton and research.
This study determined their applications these springs in the tourism sector, such
as spas, lts benefs as high temperature and its therapeutic properties, and for
for greenhouse heating, fishfarming and the food and timber dryin.
It recommended fuer investigation of each sources found, to develop projects
and create a sustainable." | |
