Auditoría del Mantenimiento de la Central Hidroeléctrica Alao de la Empresa Eléctrica Riobamba S.A., Lineamientos Mejorativos.

Abstract

An Audit of the Maintenance of the Central Hydroelectric “ALAO” and a proposal of some improvement guides in the “Empresa Eléctrica Riobamba S.A”. Has been developed with the purpose of knowing the real situation about its maintenance and efficiency in the last four years, applying modern maintenance philosophies. For developing this Audit, some data from the daily books, which are in the load department, were obtained, some management of Maintenance, determining criticism analysis in the different areas, actual maintenance situation, function of the personnel, some surveys were applied to the employees and an analysis of the style of management, proposing patters to solve the problems and for applying an action plan that should execute each equipment in the different areas that involves the hydroelectric energy generation. Whit the obtained results, it was determined that the Central Hidroeléctrica “Alao”, is highly supported and presents an availability of 93% and a probability of failing work of 86% according to the parameter of shape β of Weiybull’s law which shows up that it is in the erosion stage due to its lasting life. It could lead also to determine the strengths. As one of the patters for improving the maintenance its recommender the implementing of a Maintenance bases on trusty that will let to know the diverse types of the active functions, the possible ways with may to fail, the causes and the effects due to sails and what can be done in order to prevent them.
