In the quals farm "Paisanito". of Riobamba canton Chimborazo province, the determination of different miaro emviroomental temperature effect in the starting phases. growing. deveioçment and posture in quails was evaluated. In order to do the investigation 4 treatments with 5 repetitions were used, modeled under a Block Design completely at random with bi factorial adjustment The results indicate the highest weight gain in the quals, bred under a temperature of 32.5 ° C (T3) with increases of 16.66 to 156.04 g. in 7 and 42 days investigation For the nutional conversion index the most efficient answers was found every 7 days in the treatment quails T3 (32.5 C) especially in 42 days since the value ws 1.08. The percentage behavior of egg mass registered statistical differences reaching the highest answer in 32 "C (T2), 10.44 to 10.99 in 7 and 35 days. In the percentage of mortality, it was found that the microenvironmental temperature reported highly significant differences, observing the most efficient when working at 32.5 C (13), which values fluctuated between 0.30%, that corresponds to initial mortality and 0.10% in the development phase. The greatest yield that was of 39 cents ( BIC 1,39), was registered in the lot of treatment quails, T3 (32,5 C). Iit is recommended to produce quails at a micro-environmental temperature of 32,5 ° C (I3) since they guarantee the best productive and reproductive indices in the Ecuadorian highlands.
