Resumen
A complete mix reactor was designed and built for the Corrosion Laboratory at PETROPRODUCCIÓN-Lago Agrio, in order to evaluate corrosion inhibitors in crude oil, formation water and petroleum. Engineering calculations were made for the sizing of the equipment. Materials used in its construction were: pyrex glass beaker and acrylic material; accessories: presses, washer, precision nut, polyethylene gaskets, thermometer, corks, linear polarization test tube, corrater; the reagents used were: salt, silver nitrate; five corrosion inhibitors from supplier companies were used to carry out the tests at concentrations of 10, 15, 20 and 25 ppm. The tests were carried out for 16 hours, with slow agitation and at a temperature of 48 C, using two procedures: batch reactor and continuous injection, for concentrations of 10, 15, 20 and 25 ppm. A reactor with the following dimensions was obtained: diameter of the reactor 10.85 cm, height of the reactor 13.02 cm, height of the liquid in the reactor 10.85 cm and maximum volume of the reactor 1000.00 cm3. It is recommended to continue with studies about this equipment, in order to improve its operation and evaluation methods to be used in the future as an evaluation method in the Company.
