Intelligent spin states constructed from SU q(2) coherent states
(World Scientific, 2015-08)
It is shown that q-deformed Coherent Spin States (CSS), belonging to the SUq(2) representation, behave as Intelligent Spin States (ISS). The proof is based on the calculation of spin-squeezing observables, for both CSS and ISS.

Coherent control of quantum systems as a resource theory
(IOP Publishing, 2016-08)
Control at the interface between the classical and the quantum world is fundamental in quantum physics. In particular, how classical control is enhanced by coherence effects is an important question both from a theoretical ...
Coherence-length effects in fast atom diffraction at grazing incidence
(MDPI Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute, 2018-11)
Coherence properties of projectiles, found relevant in ion-atom collisions, are investigated by analyzing the influence of the degree of coherence of the atomic beam on interference patterns produced by grazing-incidence ...
Atomic concealment due to loss of coherence of the incident beam of projectiles in collision processes
(MDPI AG, 2021-03)
In the study of collision processes, a series of conditions is usually assumed. One of them is that the beam of projectiles is coherent in lengths greater than those of the targets against which it strikes. However, recent ...
Perturbative coherence in field theory
(American Institute of Physics (AIP), 1989-12-01)
The basic field equations of a field theory are not always derivable from a Lagrangian. Lagrangian theories are perturbatively coherent, in the sense that they have well-defined vertices. Non-Lagrangian theories may be ...

A PZT-based technique for SHM using the coherence function
(2011-06-13)
This paper presents a new approach for damage detection in structural health monitoring systems exploiting the coherence function between the signals from PZT (Lead Zirconate Titanate) transducers bonded to a host structure. ...
