Upper bounds for the ground-state second-order Perturbation Theory
(Instituto Químico de Sudáfrica, 1982-01-13)
A family of upper bounds for the ground-state second-order
energy, derived from the Perturbation Theory, has been
obtained. The bounds have been evaluated for the static
electric dipole polarizability of the hydrogen atom.
A Study of Single- and Double-Averaged Second-Order Models to Evaluate Third-Body Perturbation Considering Elliptic Orbits for the Perturbing Body
(Hindawi Publishing Corporation, 2013-01-01)
The equations for the variations of the Keplerian elements of the orbit of a spacecraft perturbed by a third body are developed using a single average over the motion of the spacecraft, considering an elliptic orbit for ...
Poincare's problem in the class of almost periodic type functions
(Belgian Mathematical Soc Triomphe, 2015)
We consider the Poincare's classical problem of approximation for second order linear
differential equations in the class of almost periodic type functions. We obtain an explicit form
for solutions of these equations by ...
Fractional Order Sliding Mode Control of a Class of Second Order Perturbed Nonlinear Systems: Application to the Trajectory Tracking of a Quadrotor
(2018)
A Fractional Order Sliding Mode Control (FOSMC) is proposed in this paper for an integer second order nonlinear system with an unknown additive perturbation term. A sufficient condition is given to assure the attractiveness ...
A note on the continuability of solutions of a perturbed second order nonlinear differential equation of lienard type
(International Journal of Mathematics and its Applications, 2015-04)
In this note we study the continuability of the solutions of a Liénard type equation with forcing term under suitable assumptions.
Linear and second-order geometry perturbations on spacetimes with torsion
(2019)
In order to study gravitational waves in any realistic astrophysical scenario, one must consider geometry perturbations up to second order. Here, we present a general technique for studying linear and quadratic perturbations ...
