In this chapter, we are particularly interested in getting to know how the systematized use of schematisms provides meaning to tourism communication and in the current study case, how new iconic elements are added to the images used to represent tourism. To report on how these new visual semantics are added to the imaginary of tourism we analyse a relatively recent tourism product in Mexico: the destination wedding as an organized trip as sign of modern consumption.
