Faraday Cage

Resumen
Faraday discovered in the 1830s that the interior of a metallic cage or mesh shields an external static electric field because the field causes the electrons in the metal of the cage to shift, thus neutralizing the field in the interior of the cage. Faraday cages are used to protect people or equipment from lightning strikes or electric discharges. They are also used in sensitive experiments that need to avoid interference from outside sources of fields or radiation Educação Superior::Ciências Exatas e da Terra::Física Ensino Médio::Física
