Referencias. 27 The game, from neuropsychological foundations, contributes to the strengthening of the learning processes in children in their earliest developmental ages, where the sensitive periods are found in the development milestones. Within these sensitive periods, boys and girls show a particular interest in learning about determined areas or topics of their particular concern. These sensitive periods are characterized by showing how the boy or girl displays that peculiar interest in acquiring knowledge: through small fractions of time of spontaneous concentration on the proposed activity, repetition of the same exercise, stimulation of language, movement, organizing the space, or establishing routines, socializing, writing, reading, math, music, and social behavior.
In the light of the above, in these stages of brain development and maturation, the concept of learning windows shows up. In these windows of opportunity, the most critical moments of brain activity are visualized where some parts of the child's brain develop enormous cognitive neuroplasticity, allowing faster and more effective learning to apprehend knowledge. Consequently, proper early stimulation is vital to provide students with the necessary and appropriate learning environment and opportunities that are tailored to their needs and goals.
Therefore, the benefits the game brings to the moment of consolidating knowledge in children during the stages of early childhood and childhood are innumerable: It develops their creativity, stimulates interaction between peers and their environment, they explore the reality surrounding them, they imagine it, and it simulates them through everyday artificial situations which mirror the real-life environment. They learn to implement and respect rules, solve problems, and favor the improvement of communicative fluency among other more precise cognitive processes such as concentration and memory. It is an essential task for educators and parents to identify the most propitious moments to implement playful dynamics that support and strengthen the learning processes, as well as to determine the most assertive strategies that will be used to reinforce the various processes that are sought to be established in the students.
