This paper develops theoretical framework for the analysis of metacognition, consider the problem of
conceptualization, the importance of developing metacognitive strategies and their implementation through virtual
tools, aiming to improve quality standards in education. This task is a challenge for teachers is therefore necessary to
develop metacognitive practice and incorporate its implementation in the classroom.
