A utilização do ambiente Moodle no ensino presencial: um estudo de caso

This article discusses the use of Virtual Learning Environments - VLEs to supplement classroom
teaching learning activities. The study aimed to understand the experiences of teachers in the
Education Center, the Federal University of Santa Maria Santa Maria, who used the Moodle VLE
as a tool of mediation in classroom courses, the School of Education and Special Education, in the
first half of 2011. To collect the data we used a questionnaire sent via e-mail to teachers. From
their responses, it was possible to identify the low utilization of available resources and the
environment, although the experiences have been positive, still needed the commitment of teachers to learn experiment and explore more the features of the Moodle VLE, so to make the
activities of teaching / learning more interesting and interactive.
