Resumen
The subject of this study is "Participatory Management" and aims to reflect on the
Class Council as an instrument of participation in schools, guaranteed by the
Democratic Management. The problem of this study questions the role of the Board
of class as an instrument of participation in basic education schools. This study was
conducted through qualitative research literature nature, in which it sought subsidies
with renowned authors such as Golden and Duarte (2001), Gemerasca and Gandin
(2002), Libâneo (2004), authors these which greatly contributed to the enrichment of
study . Among the findings, it was understood that it is necessary to rethink the
teaching-learning process, taking as its starting point the greater involvement of
parents, students, teachers and managers, where everyone participates in decision
making in the search for better quality education.
