Resumen
This study aimed to present ways of caring for a mental health user, before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, through a case study. It is a cartographic study, based on a case study. For data collection, a documentary research was carried out, with the analysis of reports, notes and portfolio of field experience. The data were analyzed using the cartographic method. Care underwent changes as there were limitations, such as remote activity, which for socially vulnerable subjects was a great obstacle to maintaining monitoring. In this study, mental health monitoring had an ally in artistic making, showing itself as an important way of carrying out interventions based on light technologies. Finally, reality is shown, with setbacks and anguishes, but it also presents experienced potentials. It was not intended to have a single conclusion, as the mental health care process is dynamic and is in constant construction. The research revealed that although the pandemic brings challenges, it is still possible to assist in improving practices at exceptional times, helping to create new ways to maintain care.
