In this paper, we deal with the discursive markers used in orality by Brazilians in the Spanish language and the problem of interlanguage in those particles. We bring up matters about the learning process of a foreign language, the relation of similarities and differences between the Portuguese and Spanish languages, discussions on interlanguage versus “portunhol”, contrastive analysis and analysis of errors and interlanguage types / processes. Our general aim is to analyze the phenomenon of interlanguage in the discursive markers through discourses given by Brazilians in the Spanish language, accomplishing it in a contrastive way in relation to the components in the Portuguese language. We consider interlanguage as the speech of foreign language learners that represents the language in development and in which misunderstandings are noted. In our case, a Brazilian who studies Spanish ends up, in this sense, neither speaking Portuguese, nor Spanish. The interlanguage will always be present in an apprentice of foreign languages and each apprentice will use it in a distinct way. It is known that discursive markers can be used to cause interference in the discourse in a procedural way, that is, they can be used to help give continuity to what is being said. These discursive particles have pragmatic functions, that is, they are related to the elocutionary functions that the speaker wishes to fulfill by using them. With this in mind, we can see that a marker can have several meanings depending on how and where it is used. The markers belong to an extra-clause category that, in a certain way, are linked to notions external to the one of predication, such as those that refer to the attitudes or intentions of the speaker. In our methodology, in the practical part of the analysis, we made some recordings in the classroom, we made transcriptions of the recordings, then we established their analysis, always searching for the elements that did not belong to the Spanish language, but that were the results of a contamination (interlanguage) with the Portuguese language in relation to the category of discursive markers. After that, we analyzed the type of interlanguage that occurs in those particles, describing the linguistic elements that appear in our work, referring to the particles. With that all, we conclude that interlanguage is a necessary process in learning any foreign language in any individual, but once this phase is prolonged more and more, and there is no concern to advance levels, then we can find a problem that needs to be analyzed.
