Resumen
This work presents the design, development, calibration and validation of a three-phase
portable energy meter and analyzer, based on two versions of developed meters, one with
the Analog Devices ADE9000 chip, associated and under the programmable supervision of
the ESP32 microcontroller, and the other only with the ESP32 microcontroller. This meter,
used in the Smart metropolis project at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The
choice of ESP32 allows the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interface to be added
to the project, thus creating direct communication with the mobile application. It presents
the technical basis present in the development, technology used and proposed solutions, as
well as, the entire process and methodology used to perform the calibration of the meter,
when carrying out experiments with wide current variation and keeping the measured
error below 1%. In addition to experiments measuring parameters such as voltage, current
and power, the meters developed also present data on electrical energy quality, as well
as a practical experiment in a field of comparison between two developed meters and a
commercial meter. It also presents the process of 3D modeling and printing of the meter
box, used connectors, assembly and measurement process, as well as the development
and communication of the mobile application developed exclusively for this applicability.
The developed meter and analyzer was tested on a stand in order to validate all the
desired functionalities, culminating in a hardware prototype and a mobile application for
configuration and reading of the data.
