Resumen
The objective of this study is to relate the activity performed by telemarketing professionals with the symptoms of occupational stress, verifying the aspects that contribute to the illness of these workers, through the perception of the workers themselves regarding their work, making the relationship between stress and activity. performed and checking the frequency with which they feel stressed in the work environment. Using the literature to point out these changes in the mental health of telemarketers, presenting the relationship between work and health and discussing the stress in telemarketing through control mechanisms and excessive charges carried out in the activity. As a methodology, a case study was carried out., whose research instrument was a questionnaire applied to tele-attendants in the cities of Natal, Parnamirim and São Gonçalo do Amarante in Rio Grande do Norte. After the analysis, the results suggest that the main factors that generate the increase of stress in the activity are related to excessive demands, devaluation of work by organizations and management, generating high levels of occupational stress.
