Resumen
This research aims to study the composition as a pedagogical proposal. It starts with the
understanding that it is an important form of contact with the musical elements.
The work is a result of experience with students from the Popular Guitar and Electric Guitar
Music School of Santa Cecilia (EMUSC), based on topics from music theory as Triads,
Arpeggios, and Scale Harmonic Field Musical based on Happy birthday to you.
The purpose was to give the student the opportunityto "play with sounds," so they could
expand, among many things, hearing ability and technique on the instrument. Creating and
organizing new concepts or improvisational. Behind the decisions leading aesthetic creativity,
where the cultural influences and assigning their own meanings are important tools in the
process.
Five were selected from among thirty students, the criterion of compatibility with the
objectives of the study, which was good with the instrument development, creativity, and in
case of a student aged five years, experience the composition in the teaching of the instrument
for children.
In summary we have developed three compositions: Grammar in another way, I am your
friend, and a solo to the music composed in conjunction with the band and with a philosophy
professor from the students. Regarding the five year old child, could not complete the process,
as it drifted too easily, making the time for completion of the research was not enough.
The main reason this was done can be seen in printsand situations transcribed in this research.
Restlessness, doubt, the new opportunity created, are the merits of this practice, and the
results will not fail to happen, especially during the musical career of each student. Getting
the proposal to extend a compositional methodology for development of practice on the
instrument.
