Resumen
This research had as goal to understand the possible implications resulting from a continuing education proposed by Fundação Vale(FV), in the work of the teachers of the municipal network of Barão de Cocais and São Gonçalo do Rio Abaixo (SGRA)/MG. For the realization of this research, we chose to use a qualitative approach, built from semi-structured interviews performed with the teachers who participated in the continuing education proposed by FV between the years of 2013 to 2015, and fifteen teachers who works in childhood education in the municipality of Barão de Cocais and three teachers who teaches in classes in the modality of Youth and Adult Education in São Gonçalo do Rio Abaixo. The performance of Fundação Vale (FV) is present in the vast territory of action of the mining company Vale S. A., with the most diverse social programs targeted for public education. The teacher continuing education has a major role to VF, because its considered a structuring action, since teachers and managers, unlike the students, establish a long-term relationship with the municipal network. We believe that continuing education has an important role to the full exercise of such a complex activity like teaching. These formations, when linking theory to practice, recognize the uniqueness of the school context in which teachers work and value the teaching knowledge that could support the professional development of the teachers, as well as the school community. When we assume the importance of continuing education for teaching, we seek to develop an analysis about the perceptions of teachers on the role of the continuing education conducted by FV in relation to the intensification processes and reorganization of teaching, a possible effort of homogenization of pedagogical practice, at last, reflect about the limits, contradictions, conflicts and intentions, that are manifested in these formations. Finally, the survey also shows that, in a continuous and silent process, corporate foundations will assume for themselves the speech of improving the public education, and the continuing education implemented by FV are only one side of a complex structure that is configured in scenario of the national public education, in which we realize a empties of the political and democratic sense of education.
