This work aims to present concrete materials as teaching-learning alternatives that enable visually impaired students learning fractions. Through qualitative research and supported by literature, the work discusses the importance of using concrete materials in learning forstudents with special needs. Finally, it presents the concepts and notions of fractions of applications using the traditional method of teaching and concrete materials for visually impaired students of elementary school.
