Abstract: The aim of this paper is the recognition and the subsequent comprehension ofthe different Gregorian attitudes -both discursive and executives- towards Judaism and Donatism. In this line, the duality expressed against Judaism is analyzed: there are portrayals and negative epithets in certain communications, neutral agreements and explicit protection in others. The Donatism, however, only receives negative epithets and against it, Gregory the Great demands coercion.
