Resumen
The purpose of this graduation project is to recognize the relationship between the Anxiety and the Resilience in the professors at Universidad Santo Tomás (USTA) in Villavicencio. Therefore, this research is quantitative, transactional, nonexperimental, and has a descriptive correlational scope. This has 17 participants: teachers from the USTA, who are between 23 and 64 years old. There was a type of non-probabilistic-intentional sampling implemented. The implemented instruments were a socio-demographic data questionnaire, the Zung's self-applied scale; The Wagnild and Young’s resilience scale. The obtained results show that there is a negative relationship between the total resilience score and the level of anxiety (p. -, 437). However, this relationship is not significant between the variables (Anxiety and Resilience), and it determines that the teachers who presented a high level of Anxiety had a low level of Resilience. Then, this allows to recognize the necessity of implementing strategies that enhance resilient behaviors.
