Letramentos digitais na educação básica e na educação de jovens e adultos: um estudo de caso sob a ótica dos discentes

The article adresses an investigation report that sought to answer the question: How do the digital literacies processes (LDs) of students of Basic Education (EB), Elementary School and Hight School Education modality of Youth and Adults? The objective is to investigate the processes of LDs of students of EB, EF and EM mode EJA. This research is qualitative, exploratory type and case study. As empirical material was used a questionnaire about digitals literacies and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The research subjects were 31 students from four EF Final Years (6th to 9th grade) and 55 EJA students (T7, T8 and T9). From this analysis emerged four categories: (a) the student and the technology; (b) technology in the classroom, (c) being literate digital, and (d) learning of ICT. In the subjects' answers it was verified that they do not present knowledge about LDs or are related to the decoding of information or finite activities. Students have learned to use technology alone or mediated by other known people and not in a school environment that should form critical technological and scientific citizens, with ICT being inclusive and not exclusive. And in relation to ICTs in the classroom can motivate students if the teacher has pedagogical domain of ICTs.
