Estratégias de coordenação na atenção primária à saúde: uma revisão integrativa

The coordination of care is one of the attributes of Primary Health Care, and is understood by some form of continuity of care is by the same physician, either through medical records, or both, in addition to recognition of problems addressed in other services and integration of care in comprehensive user attention. The primary care provider should be able to integrate all care that the user gets through coordination between services. The study objective describe the strategies used to develop the coordination of care in PHC. An integrative review, with searching databases of Latin American Literature data and Caribbean Health Sciences, International Literature in Health Sciences, and SciVerse Scopus using the time frame from 2001 to 2013 was performed. After the search and analysis of securities and abstracts, 12 articles were included in the corpus of the study. From the analysis it was observed as strategies of coordination of care: the use of medical records, public policies, reference and counter, prenatal care, protocols, standards and flows, information sharing, continuous care and the use of Primary Care Assessment Tool. The strategies used in the coordination of care, thought as an attribute of primary health care may have a significant impact on community care, ensuring continuity of care and comprehensiveness of health actions. From this review it can be concluded on the need for studies that bring the contribution of coordination of care and allied health management.
