Resumen
The constant evolution of the TIC have caused the permeation of these in all the human activity. To enter the labor market, is imperative to concentrate effort in training people with competitive skills. As Computational Thinking is seen as an ability to identify and solve problems, we could consider it as a facilitator in the multidisciplinary integration between technologies an education. The research objective is to demonstrate that PC helps and facilitates problem solving by integrating IT with other areas of knowledge, regardless of the context in which the students live, in this case binational. An action research was carried out with students and teachers of the 8th grade of elementary school in Santana do Livramento (Brazil) and its equivalent in Rivera (Uruguay). With student a series of exercises with Scratch where carried out and a survey was carried out with the teachers. The results obtained in both classes showed that the application of Computational Thinking helped and facilitated the resolution of the presented problem, cooperating with the integration of knowledge acquired in the different disciplines, and the teachers agree that it is a facilitator in the integration between TIC and education. Finally, according to the results obtained, it is also considered that the appropriation of Computational Thinking is independent of the analyzed context.
