An analysis of sustainable business development with a gender perspective in Canton Township San Bartolo Guatajiagua, Department of Morazán, in order to understand the elements involved in sustainable business development in the area to help improve socioeconomic conditions of women and men through entrepreneurship, to carry out the investigation were conducted workshops with a group of women and men in the community using the SWOT technique, the problem tree and logical framework for building projects, is conducted a population census to investigate the socioeconomic aspects of the place. The results obtained show that the factors that adversely affect sustainable entrepreneurship to gender in the community are: low self- esteem of women and men, lack of credit to start a business, lack of support from the institutions that train them or undertake a trade or business, machismo, and disrespect towards women. The census showed that there are 1.157 inhabitants, where 51% are male and 49% are female, the average educational level is up to ninth grade, with 225 homes of which 65% are of mixed concrete and 35% of adobe, services that have basic electricity is 100%, 15% and 10% water transport there 39.65% of people without occupation. The strengths relate to animal husbandry, small businesses, traditional food, bakery and home cultures, the weaknesses are the lack of a market, transportation to market products that do not implement the training received by lack funding and participation. We conclude that for the community to improve sustainable business development is necessary to impart training and technical assistance to develop a business, the fate of agricultural loans and to undertake other productive and service initiatives, training in self-esteem, raise awareness for the approach mixed gender groups, which promote agricultural fairs, communication strategies to offer their products, the creation of internal markets and partnership in solidarity groups to market their products, all this will be strengthened to make arrangements with the various institutions ADESCO government and ONGs now working in community development, it is necessary to give lectures to raise awareness of the importance of education so that there is an increase in it and can gain at least a high school in Canton, likewise with the Ministry of Public Health talks seek to strengthen the nutrition and food security in the future to eat properly and know the importance of a balanced diet to maintain a healthy lifestyle, with the Ministry of Agriculture could manage training for work with improved seed, organic and inorganic fertilizers and organic manure, pollute less and improving the environment of the area.
