Orientador: Irani Rodrigues Maldonade Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Ciências Médicas Resumo: O presente estudo buscou refletir sobre a visão que professores e profissionais da saúde que trabalham em equipe multidisciplinar na escola têm da atuação fonoaudiológica na Educação Infantil, bem como suas percepções acerca da relação entre saúde e educação. A pesquisa foi aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da Unicamp, por meio do parecer 761.731/2014. Os dados foram colhidos por meio da aplicação de um questionário semiestruturado e autoaplicável em doze professores da Educação Infantil que atuam em uma escola privada, na cidade de Campinas e em quinze profissionais da área da saúde, tais como: Fisioterapia, Terapia Ocupacional, Odontologia, Nutrição, Psicologia e Fonoaudiologia, todos participantes de um Programa de Saúde que atua em ambiente escolar, na Educação Infantil. O estudo caracteriza-se como pesquisa descritiva e de corte transversal. A análise dos dados foi realizada com base na Análise de Conteúdo. Desta forma, pôde-se observar que os conhecimentos que as participantes têm sobre a Fonoaudiologia referem-se à linguagem oral e audição, no caso das professoras e à linguagem oral, audição e motricidade orofacial, no caso das profissionais da saúde. A atuação fonoaudiológica na escola é importante por auxiliar em condutas com as crianças e a atuação do fonoaudiólogo junto aos professores. Foi também considerada positiva e valorizada por desenvolver-se em parceria com outras profissões. As professoras souberam relatar as relações entre os conhecimentos das áreas da saúde e as profissionais da saúde mostraram que o diferencial do fonoaudiólogo na equipe se faz por ele contribuir com conhecimentos da própria área. A relação entre Saúde e Educação foi considerada pelas participantes como importante, sendo que a maior parte das professoras relatou haver influência da qualidade da saúde sobre a qualidade da educação, enquanto que as profissionais da saúde citaram ser importante a prevenção e/ou promoção da saúde. As últimas profissionais também usaram marcadores de qualificação positiva para se referir à relação entre saúde e educação. A atuação do fonoaudiólogo junto à equipe pedagógica foi sugerida por uma professora, o que é pretendido para a atuação da Fonoaudiologia Educacional Abstract: The present study sought to reflect on the view that teachers and health professionals, who works in a multidisciplinary team at school, have about the Speech-Language Pathology performance in early childhood education and their perceptions about the relation between health and education. The research was approved by the Ethics in Research Committee of Unicamp (Campinas State University), through the technical opinion n. 761.731/2014. The data was collected through the application of a questionnaire semi-structured and self-applied given to a dozen of teachers from private early childhood education in the city of Campinas, and to fifteen professionals from the Health sectors, such as: Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Odontology, Nutrition, Psychology and Speech-Language pathology, all participants of a Health Program placed in a school environment at early childhood education. The study is characterized as a descriptive research and cross-sectional. The data analysis has been done based in the Content Analysis. This way, it was able to observe the knowledge that the participants have about the Speech-Language pathology involves oral language and hearing, for teachers, and oral language, hearing and orofacial motricity skills, for health professionals. The Speech-Language Pathology performance at the school is important for helping in conducts with children and by the speech language pathologist acting alongside with the teachers. It was also considered to be positive and valued in developing partnerships in other areas. The teachers were able to report the relations between the knowledge from the different health areas and the health professionals showed that the differentiation of a speech language pathologist in the team and their contribution with knowledge from their field. The relationship between Health and Education was considered important by the participants, being that the most part of the teachers reported that quality of health influences on quality of education, while health professionals cited that it is also important in health prevention and/or promotion. These last professionals also used markers of positive qualification to refer to the relation between health and education.
