| dc.description | The Rooming favors the permanence of the mother with the newborn, thus establishing a stronger link between the mother and baby, in addition, care assistance and guidance are essential to both through the health care team because they recognize the moments critical that their interventions are necessary to ensure the health of both. The educational lecture was an option to have the opportunity to assist, guide and answer possible questions that may arise for mothers, and also to assess the knowledge of puéperas regarding the care of babies and self care. There was participation from 40 patients. In the study methodology was developed a questionnaire containing two subjects (self-care and care for newborns) was given to patients before and after the lecture held by the author in a rooming Maternity HC de Botucatu. The results were analyzed statistically and studied by the author, allowing note that many significant results were obtained after the lecture, which we realize that the same intervention on self-care was significant in respect of: bleeding, infection in the genital tract and urinary tract, surgical dehiscence , care of the lower limbs and constipation, how to care for the newborn was the significance to the questions about the hygiene of the umbilical stump, cramps, hunger, weeping and pacifiers. In the pre-lecture questions 73.00% of 27.00% were right and wrong. | dc.description | O Alojamento conjunto favorece a permanência da mãe junto ao recém nascido, estabelecendo desta forma um maior vínculo entre o binômio mãe-bebê, além disso, os cuidados assistenciais e orientações a ambos são indispensáveis através da equipe de saúde, pois os mesmos reconhecem os momentos críticos em que suas intervenções são necessárias para assegurar a saúde de ambos. A palestra educativa foi uma opção para ter oportunidade de auxiliar, orientar e esclarecer possíveis dúvidas que possam surgir pelas mães, e também para avaliar o conhecimento das puéperas em relação ao cuidado dos bebês e autocuidado. Houve participação de 40 pacientes. Na metodologia de estudo foi elaborado um questionário contendo dois assuntos (autocuidado e cuidados aos RNs), foi dado às pacientes antes e depois da palestra realizada pela autora em um alojamento conjunto da maternidade do HC de Botucatu. Os resultados foram analisados pela estatística e estudada pela autora, permitindo constatar que foram obtidos muitos resultados significativos após a palestra, cuja percebemos que a intervenção da mesma sobre o autocuidado foi significativa a respeito de: menstruação, infecção no trato genital e urinário, deiscência cirúrgica, cuidados com os membros inferiores e constipação intestinal; como no cuidado ao RN a significância foi para as questões sobre a higiene do coto umbilical, cólicas, fome, choro e uso de chupetas. Na pré-palestra 73,00% das questões estavam certas e 27,00% erradas. Concluímos assim, que as puérperas possuem um alto nível de conhecimento prévio e a palestra educativa enriquece seus conhecimentos de forma criativa e participativa | |
