Introduction. Cerebral intraparenchymal hemorrhage is focal bleeding from a blood vessel into the brain parenchyma, being hypertension one of its main causes. Objective. To analyze the causes, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of cerebral intraparenchymal hemorrhage through the description of a clinical case. Methodology. The clinical case study is of a retrospective descriptive type, as a technique used for the collection of information will be done by reviewing the clinical history and for the description of the pathology will be through the collection of articles extracted from recognized databases such as: OPS/OMS, Pubmed, Medigraphic, Dialnet, Elsevier, Scielo. Results. The bibliographic analysis and the description of the clinical case show that arterial hypertension is the main cause of cerebral intraparenchymal hemorrhage. Conclusion. The expectation of the following research work is to describe the main causes, signs and symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of cerebral intraparenchymal hemorrhage and to acquire new knowledge about this disease. Introducción. La hemorragia intraparenquimatosa cerebral es el sangrado focal desde un vaso sanguíneo hacia el parénquima cerebral, siendo la hipertensión una de sus principales causas. Objetivo. Analizar las causas, signos y síntomas, diagnóstico y tratamiento de la hemorragia intraparenquimatosa cerebral mediante la descripción de un caso clínico. Metodología. El estudio de caso clínico es de tipo descriptivo retrospectivo, como técnica empleada para la recolección de la información se realizará mediante la revisión de la historia clínica y para la descripción de la patología sera mediante la recopilación de artículos extraidos de bases de datos reconocidas como: OMS/OPS, Pubmed, Medigraphic, Dialnet, Web Sciencie, Elsevier, Scielo. Resultados. Mediante el análisis bibliográfico y la descripción del caso clínico se evidencia que la hipertensión arterial es la causa principal de la hemorragia intraparenquimatosa cerebral. Conclusión. La expectativa del siguiente trabajo de investigación es describir las principales causas, signos y síntomas, diagnóstico y tratamiento de la hemorragia intraparenquimatosa cerebral y adquirir nuevos conocimientos sobre esta enfermedad.
