Currently exoskeletons have had a greater presence in industrial environments, companies such as Hyundai and Ford are implementing exoskeletons to reduce muscle load on their employees. This research project was created with the aim of designing a passive lower extremity exoskeleton using CAD software. The design was achieved through the spiral methodology, where 3 stages were carried out. The mechanism was subjected to virtual simulation tests, where static analyzes were performed applying 150lbf to the exoskeleton with different types of materials, and dynamic analyzes to verify that the mechanism would not interfere or limit the movement of the lower joints when the 12.5N of the component of the exoskeleton. It was determined that the material that best supported the efforts and gave less weight was 6061 aluminum.
