Resumen
This paper presents and analyzes manifestations of high school students during reading practices of literary texts aimed at critical formation. The data consist of transcriptions of the speeches of second-year students produced in practices developed in a state school. Based on these data, the theoretical discussion elucidates the role of literature for critical formation from the authors’ perspective Cândido (2004) and Cosson (2016) and also from the guidelines of the Common National Curricular Base (BNCC) (BRASIL, 2018). The discursive productions in contemporary society, in turn, are discussed from the Bakhtinian conception of discourse. The results reflect connections between the students and the works read and that, in the practices, literature, and discursive productions are possibilities for social action.
