The following monograph makes a conceptual sweep of the origins of philosophy for children (P4C) from its original paths, analyzing the conceptual advances up to the "community of inquiry" and then comparing them with the contributions made in Colombia in order to show that there are ways in which philosophy can contribute to the "how" to build peace in a post-conflict country. The analysis is carried out with respect to three key approaches: the first one, the target audience, which will answer the question: to whom is the approach presented? the second one, the epistemological considerations, which answers to which objectives are important? and, finally, the pedagogical component, that is to say, how are the contents disseminated? These axes give us results in terms of community intervention and resolution of the social fabric by means of philosophical pedagogy through the reconstruction of the social fabric, affective thinking or "caring thinking" to lead to the possibility of building unimagined, but not impossible, worlds.
