El siguiente artículo pretende, por un lado, invitar al lector a realizar una mirada sobre el conflicto social a partir de los aportes de algunas teorías sociológicas pertenecientes a las corrientes funcionalista, marxista y crítica en sus diferentes facetas tomadas como paradigmas macrosociológicos; y por otro, al análisis de las corrientes  microsociológicas desde Max Weber, pasando por más recientes desarrollos teóricos como el interaccionismo  simbólico, la fenomenología, la etnometodología y el enfoque de los integradores emergentes entre los cuales  se ubica la teoría del caos. The following article seeks on one hand, to invite the reader to observe the social conflict starting from the  contributions of some sociological theories which belong to the functionalist, Marxist and critic paradigms in  its different facets taken as macrosociological paradigms. On the other hand, it seeks to analyze the  microsociological paradigms from Max Weber, passing through more recent theoretical developments as the symbolic interactionism, phenomenology, ethnomethodology and the emergent integrative theories,  including the chaos theory.
