Thus, let us observe that the company A&M CONSTRUCOL S.A.S located in the city of
Armenia of the department of Quindío, which provides services in the sector
construction and civil engineering, do not have the necessary measures to control
and prevention of work accidents, since there have been 25 accidents
related to the mechanical risk factor, where 22 of these are characterized by
mild severity and three severe from 2014 to 2020, on the other hand they do not have
all investigations of work accidents and have not implemented plans of
corrective action, which leads to repetitive accidents and the
productivity is affected generating economic losses. This project is
carried out a descriptive type of study with a mixed approach since they combine,
integrate and link qualitative and quantitative aspects, where it was intended to propose
the pertinent management strategies for the control of occupational accidents.
