8.0. ANEXOS. 52 Biological risk is present in various environments of people's daily life, but it "becomes a health problem when" it occurs in the work context, statistics and data regarding the incidence of this risk in the population of workers. of general services are reduced, therefore it is important to estimate the current prevalence of this problem, the recognition of the management measures that are applied to this problem and the level of affectation that it represents for a highly vulnerable population, such as general service workers in the health sector in Colombia. In order to describe the consequences of exposure to biological risk according to the documentary analysis carried out in the general services personnel of the Colombian health sector between 2011 and 2020, a non-experimental descriptive methodology is applied with qualitative data analysis. using the QUADAS method to establish the validity of the studies and research included in the population of 38 definitive sources. The results indicate that these personnel are highly exposed because they are the end of the process chain and depend on compliance with biosafety measures by the different actors in the health care process, although there is a small number of specific investigations on this population. Concluding that the training and proper use of PPE in accordance with clear biosafety and epidemiological surveillance protocols are efficient prevention measures in the medium and long term.
