Stimulate curiosity and motivation for Mathematics in students, it is very important, especially in the early years of education, this is why the present study sought to evaluate the experience lived in a project of divulgation and valuation of Mathematics, named AníMATE of the National Program of divulgation and valuation of Science and Technology (EXPLORA). The theoretical support of the study is based on research developed in three themes, first in the field of divulgation and valuation of mathematics, second in the Didactics of Mathematics as a field of research and methodological application, and third in relation to the affective domain of learning mathematics. The study considered a quantitative and qualitative approach. The quantitative approach, it was used to measure the level of attitudes, emotions and beliefs that students have about learning mathematics, before participating in the divulgation and valuation activities, and then to what extent the divulgation and valuation activities of mathematics improve the attitudes, emotions and beliefs that students have about their learning. While the qualitative approach was used to describe the opinion of teachers about the experience proposed by the activities of divulgation and valuation of Mathematics. As for the results and conclusions, quantitative analysis yields levels favorable attitudes, emotions and beliefs once the initiative end. The qualitative analysis shows a positive opinion towards the experience proposed by the AníMATE project. PFCHA-Becas PFCHA-Becas
