dc.description"El presente estudio es una diagnóstico de la situación que guarda el Programa de Maestría en Tecnología de Semillas de la Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro en tres diferentes niveles: docencia, investigación y vinculación con el sector productivo Para la obtención de los resultados se aplicaron cuestionarios a profesores, alumnos y egresados de la maestría, así como entrevistas con expertos en el área de las semillas que se encuentran laborando en los sectores público y privado de la industria semillera nacional. Los resultados obtenidos revelan la urgente necesidad de reorientar el programa de maestría hacia una mayor vinculación con el sector productivo, mejorar la calidad de investigación y docencia del mismo."
dc.description"The current research is a diagnostic of the Seed Technology Graduate Program of the Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro. The analysis was made at three levels: teaching, research and links with the productive sector. In order to obtain the results a questionnaire was applied to the professors, students and alumni from the Program, as well as interviews with the seed experts that work in the public and prívate sectors of the national seed industry and the coordinator of the Master's Program. Results revealed the necessity to modernize professors' knowledge in two ways: Pedagogy and in the seed technology area, including the adequation of analytical programs. On the other hand, the impact of research has to be reviewed, in order to improve its quality and relevante. Also is necessary to strength the links with the productive sector, teachers and students should go out of the university campus to obtain ínformation needed to re focus teaching and research to satisfy actual seed industry."
