Psychoanalysis approaches the subject in its singularity, considering the discourses that cross it
and its subjective clinical structure. From the analysis of the so-called "unclassifiable cases",
Jaques-Alain Miller proposes the term "ordinary psychosis" as an ordinary psychosis clinic.
Jacques Lacan, from the writings of James Joyce, pluralizes the significant Name-of-the-Father
and poses the sinthome as a stabilizing solution of the ordinary subject, which acts within its
own know-how. In this way, the direction of the intervention pointed towards a Borromean clinic,
providing another way of thinking about the psychoanalytic clinic and enabling research and
intervention from the role of the analyst, against the proposal of Miller. This epistemological tool
may bring us closer to reflect on one of the many Lacanian aphorisms "you do not see me from
where I look at you".
