| dc.description | De poco tiempo a esta parte, una de las zonas más ricas del país, el departamento de Piura, viene siendo cruelmente azotada por las epidemias más terribles: la peste bubónica, la fiebre tifoidea, el paludismo, etc., a las que ha venido a sumarse desde el año pasado la fiebre amarilla amarilla. Estas anormales condiciones por las que atraviesa el departamento de Piura y las serias proyecciones que ha tenido, y tiene actualmente, la epidemia de que me ocupo, constituyen un peligro inevitable y fatal para los habitantes de esa región y por consiguiente un obstáculo insalvable al aumento de la población, así como al desarrollo de su comercio y de sus riquezas. | es-ES |
